Novig on ArchivePicks

What ArchivePicks shows from Novig, and how to use it. Information only: ArchivePicks is not affiliated with Novig and takes no bets.

What Novig is

Novig is an exchange: every market is an order book and prices are probabilities rather than American odds. ArchivePicks reads Novig's public catalog and shows what a side would cost to buy. This page does not describe the operator, where it is available or its terms; for that, go to Novig directly.

What ArchivePicks shows from Novig

Which stats are available depends on what the book posts for each game. See the NFL, NBA, college football and CS2 pages for the boards.

How its prices appear next to other books

Every price on the board is shown as American odds. Where a book quotes a probability instead, ArchivePicks converts it first, and each side is shown at the price someone could actually buy it at. Each price carries the time it was read, and a line older than 15 minutes is styled as stale.

Books post their own numbers, so the same player and stat can sit at different lines and prices on different books. A player's page shows each book's line and prices as a separate card so they can be read side by side, and the line picker on a board row lists the books that post that player. Where several books price the same number, a row can also note when one book's price beats the other books' average no-vig price; that describes prices, not what will happen.

Using the Book filter

Pick Novig in the Book row on the NFL or NBA board to narrow it to the players Novig prices, each at Novig's own number. Pick All books to clear it. The choice is remembered per sport on your device.

See prediction market and Pick'em in the Glossary, and how prices are handled in the Methodology.
