Parlay calculator: combined odds and payout
Worked example
Three legs at -110, +150 and -120 have decimal odds of 1.909, 2.500 and 1.833. Multiplied, that is 8.75x, or +775 in American odds. A stake of 10 returns 87.50, a profit of 77.50.
How it works
A parlay pays only if every leg wins, so its decimal odds are the legs' decimal odds multiplied together. The payout is the stake times that number, and the profit is the payout minus the stake.
This multiplies the legs as if they were independent. A book may price legs that depend on each other, such as two props from the same game, differently, so the price a book quotes for such a parlay can differ from this result.
Frequently asked questions
How do you calculate parlay odds?
Convert each leg's American odds to decimal odds and multiply them. Convert the product back to American odds if you want that format.
How is a parlay payout worked out?
The payout is the stake times the combined decimal odds, stake included. The profit is the payout minus the stake.
What happens if one leg loses?
A parlay needs every leg to win. If any leg loses, the whole parlay loses; rules for a tie or cancelled leg are set by the book, so check its rules.
Does the calculator handle same-game parlays?
It multiplies prices as if the legs were independent, so it does not account for any link between legs. The book's own quote is the one that counts.
