How to read the college football board

College football has fewer games per team than the NFL, and teams in different conferences rarely face each other, so a hit rate built on a handful of games against weak opponents can look better than it is. Check who the games were against in the game log before trusting a rate.

Blowouts change playing time: starters often sit in the second half of lopsided games, which lowers totals for the player in a way a quality-of-opponent number does not show. The L5 and season columns, plus the head-to-head view, help separate a real role from a lucky stretch. Lines on this board come from Underdog, the only book posting college football props here, so there is no second book to compare against.
